La grande dame

La grande dame, or among insiders LGD, was not only known for free wifi, a beautiful porch for hot summer days and Andrea Bocellis voice, it was back then, before there was a Segafredo, a Hyatt or a Sheraton, the “fancy place” to go. At least in 2008 and 2009, I remember it as the place to hang out, meet everybody else and enjoy freshly baked baguette with olive tapenade.

Below is a view from LGD before and after.
